In June, the 49th Edition of the IEEE Photovoltaic Specialists Conference took place, the most important technical conference related to photovoltaics worldwide. At that conference we had the opportunity to present a poster related to the Smart-PV project entitled “A Deep Learning Approach for PV Failure Mode Detection in Infrared Images: First Insights”, obtaining the nomination for “Best paper award”. During his presentation, it was possible to get in touch with several research groups, some of the most prestigious institutions, opening contacts within the scope of the Smart-PV project, as well as potential users of the prototype to be produced.
